What We Teach

The Twos Curriculum

Every activity in the Twos programme is intentional — mapped to developmental milestones and designed to build skills that last a lifetime.

🤝
Social Skills
Core

Structured and free play opportunities that help children learn to share, take turns, and build their first real friendships.

🧠
Cognitive Development

Sorting, classifying, counting, and simple problem-solving activities that build the cognitive frameworks for formal learning.

🗣️
Language Explosion
Daily

A massive leap in vocabulary and sentence structure — we fuel it with rich reading, storytelling, and conversation.

🎨
Art & Creativity
Daily

Process-led art that values creativity over product — building confidence, fine motor skills, and self-expression simultaneously.

💪
Self-Help & Independence
Daily

Dressing, toileting, tidying, and managing personal belongings — building the independence that children (and parents) love.

🌍
World Discovery
Weekly

Simple science, nature, and community topics that begin to build children's understanding of the world around them.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything families want to know about the Twos programme.

What is the difference between Toddlers and Twos?
The Twos programme has a stronger emphasis on social development, independence, and school-readiness skills. Children move from parallel to cooperative play and develop much stronger language and self-care abilities.
My child turns 2 mid-year — can they join Twos?
Yes. We assess developmental readiness alongside age when placing children, so speak to your center's principal about the best fit for your child.
How do you manage behaviour in the Twos class?
We use positive, relationship-based guidance techniques. Aggression and frustration are normal at this age — our teachers are trained to respond calmly and teach children better strategies.
Is there a nap time?
Full-day Twos children have a rest period after lunch. Some children sleep, others rest quietly. We follow each child's individual sleep needs.
What language is used in the classroom?
English is the primary language. Our teachers model rich English language use throughout the day while being responsive and warm in Bahasa Indonesia where needed.
How do I know if my child is ready for Preschool?
Our teachers will share a developmental progress report near the end of the Twos year and discuss school readiness with you. We guide every family through this transition.
